Georgie Born (15.11.55) joined Henry Cow in 1976 and stayed with the band until their dissolution in 1978. In addition to bass guitar, she added the cello to the Cow's range of instrumentation. Until the release of the 40th anniversary box set in 2009, there was very little recorded material of her contribution to the band. Prior to the Box Set, she can be heard on 'Western Culture', the last Henry Cow studio album released in 1978 but by that stage, she appeared as a guest.
